Booking and Cancellation Policy

For Tours & Experiences

For in-person tours and experiences booked directly with The Greek Herbalist, this Booking and Cancellation Policy is provided during the registration process and participants are required to agree to the terms before making a deposit payment.

Currency & Payments

All fees are to be paid in the European currency of euros €. Payments are accepted by any credit card or PayPal. Any fees for currency conversion are to be paid by the registrant.

Registrants are required to reserve their place on the selected tour with a non-refundable deposit of €500. After the deposit is made, two invoices will be sent to the registrant at the email address provided during payment. The invoice due dates are listed on the specific tour page. Payments received 30 days or more after the invoice due date will incur a 10% late fee.

Refunds

Requested refunds are available if The Greek Herbalist is notified in writing in advance. The dates that qualify for refunds are listed on the specific tour page. No refunds are available three months before the scheduled tour, but transfers to interested participants is possible.

Most tours will take place with a minimum of 4 participants. In the unlikely event that the minimum participation is not met two months prior to the tour, the tour will be canceled and all payments (including your deposit) will be refunded in full. However, The Greek Herbalist cannot compensate participants for airfare or any travel costs incurred. For this reason, travel insurance is highly recommended for any or all possible reasons for travel cancellation, as well as for personal injury, medical treatment, repatriation, evacuation expenses, and personal property. The Greek Herbalist is not responsible for lost or damaged possessions or any personal injuries occurred during travel to the tour location, during the tour, or during travel from the tour location, and participants will not sue for whatever reason.

The Greek Herbalist reserves the right to refuse, block, or cancel a booking at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion. When your booking is canceled, then you agree that a full refund of trip payments made to us will constitute full settlement of any claims you may have against The Greek Herbalist or other partners and travel intermediaries. In the rare event of a cancellation by The Greek Herbalist due to dangerous weather, political unrest, acts of god, and other force majeure events, we will use reasonable efforts to recover advanced payment and refund the balance when possible. The Greek Herbalist does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and the use of reasonable efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of legal proceedings in foreign jurisdictions.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Booking and Cancellation Policy will be updated from time to time, including to reflect changes to my services or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. I will post the revised Policy on the Site, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by applicable law.
