About the Instructor:

Maria Christodoulou is a clinical herbalist and educator of ancient Greek herbal medicine. Her clients have included Smithsonian Journeys and the Bucknell/Penn State in Athens Program. Maria is the author of "The Greek Herbalist's Guide to the National Garden, Athens" and “The Greek Herbalist’s Guide to the Mountain.”

She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University (Classics, 2005), a Master’s degree from Drexel University (MS Library Science, 2007), and a clinical herbalism certificate from ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism (2019).

She is based in Athens, Greece.
